Reviews for the stay on GOOGLE

It's been a month since I came home from GENKI HOUSE. The waves of reality have been fierce, making me constantly think back on the wonderful time there. Let me quickly write a more-than-five-star review!

As first-time parents who stayed at GENKI HOUSE for 30 days, we'd like to share with soon-to-be parents the things that may not be immediately apparent during a tour, but that we found absolutely amazing after experiencing them firsthand!

★ Nurses Are #1 ★
If I had to name the most impressive thing about our stay, it would absolutely be the incredibly professional and loving nurses!!! Every nurse we met at GENKI HOUSE was warm, full of energy, and so endearing.

We want to give another big shout-out to all the nurses who took care of our two babies!!!

The nurses gradually and patiently guide parents to start bonding with the baby. Throughout the process, they proactively teach basic caregiving skills. If you want to learn more about anything, just ask — the nurses hold nothing back and share everything with you.
The nurses also share observations about each baby's personality and habits, so when you go home, you understand your baby completely. Even when exhausted, you can seamlessly take over the care, and everything the nurses told you makes perfect sense in hindsight.
As for moms worrying about nighttime care — trust me, your baby is absolutely well looked after! I personally visited the nursery in the middle of the night due to emotional ups and downs, and the nurses were always there to receive me warmly. Even during the rare late-night shifts around the holidays, the nurses were full of care and attentiveness — you could completely feel their genuine passion!
During tours, you can see the facilities, course introductions, and meet the administrative staff. You'll likely feel positively impressed by all of that. But after checking in, you'll discover that GENKI HOUSE's greatest treasure is truly its exceptional nursing team.

◆ Standalone Building
The standalone building concept is something I only truly appreciated after living there. I didn't specifically require it at first, but the foot traffic is wonderfully pure. Everyone you meet in the elevator is a fellow mom, while visitors are easily distinguishable. People chat and share in the elevator, or ride it together to classes — it's so warm and cozy! (BTW, the caregiving courses are all very practical, and the recreational art class is wonderfully therapeutic.)
The only "downside" is occasionally having to wait for the elevator, but those moments become opportunities to chat with other moms and listen to the soft music playing in the hallways — something I still miss!

◆ Breast Milk Storage Bottles
GENKI HOUSE provides breast milk storage bottles — once pumped, they swap it for a new one. I didn't pay much attention to this during the tour, but after coming home I realized how amazing unlimited storage bottles truly are. At home, you have to pump and wash everything yourself (exhaustingly so).

◆ Room Lighting
Postpartum hormones affect everyone. The room's natural light and greenery truly help with recovery. Whether using the bathroom or resting on the couch, warm sunshine wraps around you.

◆ Books and Picture Books
There's a library area in the back of the second-floor common space. Besides reading during disinfection periods, the picture books there are all popular, highly recommended titles. It's a great chance to read them in person, note the ones you like, and purchase them for later reading with your baby. There are also many parenting books — including books by Dr. Huang and parenting experts. Ask the administrative staff about borrowing, and you'll come home equipped to solve fifty more parenting challenges!

◆ Postpartum Meals
Trust me, no matter how delicious the meals are, you'll get tired of them after a week. Fortunately, GENKI HOUSE offers three vendors with slightly different flavors, keeping meals fresh throughout the month. One thing to note: if you don't eat right away, some vendors' soups in insulated containers may start to sour if left too long. Remember to pour the soup into a bowl first to cool, then reheat it in the steam oven in the common area.

Though coming home has had its challenges, we are still happy and blessed — all thanks to everyone at GENKI HOUSE who guided us and our babies to begin exploring this new life. It truly was a dream-like little journey.
