After 21 days I wish I could just keep staying 🤣 The best part of GENKI HOUSE is the all-nursing-staff care — everything from taking care of mom to taking care of baby is handled so professionally! The nurses adjust the timing and schedule for both mom and baby according to individual needs. For lactation-related questions, the nurses offer lots of different suggestions, teach you how to use the equipment, and how to manage your time... And since there are different nurses — including some who are mothers themselves — you get real personal experience shared with you! This is truly so important. Staying at a postpartum center, baby care matters, but what matters even more is being able to rest well and having someone patiently teach you how to be a mom. 😭
Before I looked at postpartum centers, I wondered if I'd get bored — cooped up for so many days? But after checking in, every day was packed! 🤣 Besides nursing the baby, there are visitors, massages, classes, hair washing, breast massage... so many things to fit in! Plus three generous meals a day, with the option to switch between different meal vendors — the whole day flew by. And every week I could feel both my body and mind had recovered more than the week before.
Finally, the facilities are superb — pure hotel-level luxury. Having warm water available at any hour is so important. And having someone clean your room every day is a treat. Not having to do laundry but being able to change clothes every day is wonderful!
Hoping GENKI HOUSE still has a room available for our second baby! 🤣
And finally — having a balcony in the room is SO important! The sunlight coming in is absolutely necessary!!!
